Related Topics| Do you always bring packages inside? | | I don't know if this has been happening around you lately, but it has been happening here and now it's changing my behaviour. Within the last couple months, I know of 2 incidents where a person had a package delivery left at their door, they've brought it into the house, then been arrested for having drugs. The police (FBI, ATF, whatever) wait outside until they bring the package into their house then they knock on the door and arrest everyone. One man even had his dogs shot and killed. He's the mayor of a local city here and claimed to have no clue what was in the package. I can totally agree that I would bring in a package if it was on my doorstep, I probably wouldn't look at who it was addressed to until I got it into the house. My step-son's friend was evicted from his apartment because the same kind of thing happened to his roommate.Well, last Friday, I had 4 packages on my doorstep. I checked them over before I brought them in and only 3 of them were mine (and I knew exactly what they were so they were ok). The 4th one was addressed to someone else - I think she lived here like 3 people ago - and it was from the Department of Corrections (JAIL!). Well, that one did NOT...

| | A little respect for the military uniform.. | | I've seen various fashion magazine and some man and woman who wears military uniform as a form of fashion statement.
They just wear the uniform as if they are wearing some custome on halloween or a custome party I'm not against fashion or any sort of new trends in our society but what bothers me is that the uniform that supposedly be a sign of a pride to our brave soldier are just being wear without a little respect out of it.
I have high regards to all men in uniform because I myself is a navy reservist here in my country and always ready to serve when my duty calls for it. Military men and women sacrifice so much to earn the right -the privilege - to wear their uniform.
It is technically illegal for an unauthorized person to wear a military uniform or any recognizable piece of the uniform. The only exception: actors and actresses in a "theatrical setting or movies".
I really knew I will raise many eyebrow on this discussion but some of us really don't know how valuable the uniform for the military, police, FBI, CSI or even professional doctor and nurse to see thier uniform wearing in a disgrace manner.
| | Review of The Game | | "GTA Style game, but repetitive gameplay"GTA Style game, but repetitive gameplayThis is a GTA Style Action-Adventure game, it starts off nicely, but as you play it more and more, the gameplay starts to get repetitive. You can play storyline missions, extort businesses for money, perform hits on the side, and take over or blow up opposing families' rackets. The first few times you do it, it's pretty cool, but after you do it 20 times it gets old quickly.Genre score: 38/50- Action Element (15/25)I liked the fact that this isn't your typical run and gun game, as that will NOT work at all (maybe at the end with fully upgraded weapons it would, but for most of the game it won't). You have to use some strategy with taking cover and shooting around corners if you want to survive, as well as the target points on the body you can hit, such as the knees, shoulder, etc... But, that's about the only good thing about the action part of this game. The game was very 2D, and the physics were terrible.. Your character and the cars seemed to be glued to the ground, for one, you can't jump, and cars don't flip no matter what, trust me, I've tried. Some of the controls were also a... | |
