| My husband has a leather coat for work. It is as good Police jacket. It is seven months old. It is leather, made in South Australia, probably cows leather.
Ever since he has had this coat, it has a very bad smell. It is not the natural smell of leather. It appears to have not been treated properly with chemicals, or whatever one is supposed to do when preparing leather. We have tried washing/ soaking it at least twice with Wool Wash to get rid of the smell. Nothing has worked so far.Does anyone know of a way to get rid of this bad smell from the leather? It is not in other Police jacklets that his colleagues wear. |
