| If a police officer violate a traffic law, who gonna write him a ticket? | | I just wonder, does a police officer driving a police car has special authority, even though they are breaking the traffic law as many people saw it? Many times, one or two police car was rushing over 55 miles in a 35 street. Some polices even turn the siren on for the intention of not want to wait in red light. After they pass the red light, they simply turn it off. For that, who are going to give them ticket, I was just curious.
Also, even a civilian file a complaint report to the police supervisor, would they even consider take a look at the complaint report or investigate it? Which I doubt it.
| | Police Officer and a Hypothetical scenario | | I want to run this by you lotters and see what you think about this. A police Officer finds a pill in his car. He doesn't know what it is or where it came from. So he seeks out an answer to the identification of this pill. OK. Now it more than likely came from someone he had transported. He isn't going to be interrogated nor will any legal issues arise for this officer. Now lets think about this from the opposite side of the fence so to speak. Someone (non-law enforcement) gets pulled over. The officer notices a pill on the floor of the car. He questions the person about the discovery. The person replies that they do not know what it is or how it got there. Right? just for the sake of this argument lets say that they really do not know. Do you think the officer is going to believe them? Or give them the benefit of the doubt? You think this person will suffer no consequences and go on with their day? Is it fair that someone can suffer from the actions of someone else? Would love to know what you think. | |

| | My Childhood Dream: Be A Police Officer...But IM A TATTOO ARTIST | | Ever since i was a kid i have always wanted to serve and protect the weak. I dream to be a police officer. As a matter of fact im taking Criminal Justice in college right now. I enjoyed it a lot and did really good in class. Im also a working student, i earn money through my talent which is doing tattoos, and im great at it as well. I get to eat, pay rents, buy clothes and have enough for my college tuition from tattooing.
Although im good in this profession i always get mocked and picked on by other people, both artists and clients because im a tattoo artist but i don't have any tattoos in my body because my course doesn't allow tattoos and worst the national police in my country doesn't accept applicants with tattoos on them. I have to have them removed if i want to join the academy.
Now im torn in between my dream to be a member of the Philippine National Police or to continue my passion in tattooing and establish my name and hope to become an International Tattoo Artist someday.
| | Have you ever bribed a police officer? | | I have never bribed a police officer and I never will. It is against the law and you can even get another ticket for even tring to attempt it. The odds are against you when try and bribe a police officer. You get in more trouble that way. I have known some girls to bribe or cry out of at ticket. I think it is rediculous when girls do it. I have never got out of a ticket. Everytime I have gotten stopped they have given me some type of ticket. I hate getting them as much as anyone else. I wish there was another alternative. The state gets you everytime will big fines I absoulutely hate it! | |

| | A Police Officer | | saw a man walking down the road followed by 20 penguins. "Take those penguins to the Zoo" ordered the officer. The following day he saw the same man followed by the 20 penguins again. He shouted "I thought that I told you to take those penguins to the Zoo". The man replied "I did. It was fantastic. Today we are going to the beach". Have you been followed by any penguins lately? | |

Lashley says Gates' reaction to Crowley was "a little bit stranger than it should have been."Asked if Gates should have been arrested, Lashley said supported Crowley "100 percent."

| Would you have Tased that Grandma if you were a police officer | | If you were that officer and a 70 year old woman was disobeying your direct authority, would you tase her? For me, I think he did the right thing. Its the least overpowering way to seem gentle in this situation. I dont know anything I would have done differently. | |
